Mandy
At the seasoned age of about 19, Mandy still has a lot of life to live and love to give! She is a beautiful Dun mare with Primitive (tiger) stripes on all 4 legs. She has been used on the trail extensively. She is a dominant mare and a very solid trail partner! She has excellent footing and smooth gaits. She has been ‘parked’ for a little while and will need some regular exercise and continued diet before hitting the trails hard again!
Clint
‘The coolest mustang you’ll ever meet!’ This is how I always introduce Clint. He is an 8-year old, dark bay gelding from Jackson Mountain NV HMA. He was lightly started under saddle but was used as our pack horse out on the trail. He loves people, is the first one to meet you at the gate, and is a very willing partner. He has the cutest little star on his forehead and a dash of white on his upper lip. He will be your best friend forever!
Tuco
This young man is handsome! Tuco is a stunning dark brown/black, 5-year old gelding from the Onaqui Mountains, UT HMA; gathered at only 5 months old and has been with us since he was 11 months old. He also has basic training on catching, haltering, leading, and grooming. He is still learning to stand for the farrier and trailer load. Tuco has great conformation and will be a wonderful partner in any direction his adopter chooses!
Annie Oakley
You will not meet a more beautiful little pnito mare than Ms Annie Oakley! She is a 7-year old out of Cedar Mountain, UT HMA. This girl needs consistency and patience, but I feel with time, she’ll become the absolute dream horse for some lucky adopter. She is cautious around people, but is not mean at all. She did have several months of training and seems to learn things rather quickly. Overcoming her fear of people is key!
Madoc
Solid, well built, great mover, and tough as nails! This guy has lived up to his name, Madoc meaning perserverance. He is an 8-year old gelding from the Onaqui Mountains, UT HMA. He had a rough start after being captured in 2021, but has slowly made tremendous progress in warming up to humans. He will approach but is not caught easily. He has been learning how to halter and be groomed and handled.
Jasper – courtesy post
Jasper’s human reached out to Hoof Heroes to help this beautiful boy find his forever home. Due to unforeseen circumstances with his human, Jasper needs a new barn. He is still learning haltering, but he already loads in a trailer! He is super cute and seems like a very willing partner for some lucky adopter.
ADOPTION PENDING!
Josey
Our youngest and tallest available mustang! At only 4 years old, Josey towers over the other horses at about 16.2 HH. She is an absolutely gorgeous Pangeray Bay with 2 white socks on her hind legs and is from the Sheepshead, OR HMA. She is very sweet and loves attention. She has basic training on catching, haltering, leading, and grooming. She is still learning to stand for the farrier and trailer load. With consistent work and attention, Josey has a ton of potential!
